Google has announced recent price cuts in their online storage for Google accounts, which include Gmail and Picasa Web Albums. Since all of us use Blogger, we all have a Picasa Web Album by default as a place to store our pictures posted on our blogs. If you like using Picasa Web Albums, for $5 a year, you can store up to 20 GB of your photos. That's an incredibly cheep deal! Don't forget about the free photo organization client, Picasa, which works on both Microsoft and Macintosh computers, and you have a way in which to control uploads and downloads from your computer.
UPDATE- The biggest bummer for me about this deal was video storage. For some reason I thought that you were not able to upload videos to Picasa but I was wrong. I just opened up Picasa and uploaded a video to my Picasa Web Album. You get the option to embed videos in standard quality or high definition. I'm sold. I just spent the $5 for 20 gigabytes.
