Cabelas and Gardner Village

It was raining yesterday so Mom and I took the kids to Cabelas for some fun. I jokingly refer to the place as the free zoo of dead animals. We gawked at the size of the catfish in the giant fish tanks, ate lunch at the deli, and Matix showed mom all his favorite animals mounted on the faux mountain scenery.

Matix and I were playing at the arcade shooting gallery when a class on a field trip flooded in, taking up all the available gun posts. I happened to notice one of the kids jump after I shot a target near him. Hmm... I forgot that half of the targets in the front will squirt a small stream of water out when they are hit. So, being the good example that I am, I quickly shot every single target that squirts water from right to left. Oh yes, you know I giggled as a wave of children jumping in surprise swept across the booth.

Better still, the teacher was hit by one of the targets so I just kept shooting it over and over until she quit jumping and finally moved. I just figure that if she reacted and didn't move after the first, second, or even the third time of being hit by water, well, it's like me telling Matix not to eat the candy on the table; it's just going to happen unless it's moved.
