We came out to California early to spend time with Carline's parents before the chaos of Kayla's wedding. I had no the chaos would start right from the beginning.
If you don't have a Facebook account, you probably haven't seen these pictures. I made the mistake of uploading the pictures to Facebook first but the storm came in so fast and hit hard, knocking out the internet and eventually the power. The power was out for almost 24 hours and, considering all the lines knocked down by broken branches and trees, the power company did an excellent job with fixing it. Uploading pictures to Blogger was impossible and getting them onto Facebook was difficult and eventually stopped when power to the cell tower must have cut out.
Anyway, it just started snowing when we arrived Saturday night and had barely started to stick. It snowed about an inch per hour for the next 36 hours.
