The other day I was looking at some old pictures that were left on the memory card for the camera, pictures from a year ago of Matix and Keira. Keira's hair was short since it was still growing in but it looked really cute on her. I made a comment to Carline about how I liked Keira's hair in the pictures and Carline said she was thinking the same thing.
Now, I've been arguing that Keira needs a haircut for some time but Carline has always resisted. Keira had a high forehead when her hair first started to grow in. More hair eventually grew in up front but it was so delayed that, to me, her hair looked like we had cut her bangs once and decided to let it grow out afterward. It was difficult to do something with her hair because, whether in pigtails, a ponytail or braided, there was this shorter length that always fell out and made it look like a frizzy mess.
So, when I saw these pictures of Keira looking cute in the short hair, I thought, "Hmm... I need to remember to show Carline these when she gets home and maybe I can finally convince her to get Keira a haircut." Yep, it worked. Carline got online and found a place in American Fork that specializes in children's haircuts and we took Keira to get her first haircut a few days later.
